Still the best.
The Blue Seas is still my favorite liveaboard in the Red Sea. The combination of a very comfortable boat, delicious food, dedicated hard working crew, and excellent dive guides is one that is very hard to beat. Thanks to everyone on the Blue Seas for another super trip. Ricky B.

Great boat and service, but transfer logistics could be improved.
We were very unlucky with the weather, which was extraordinarily windy and meant the trip had to be diverted for safety reasons. It also meant that when combined with the 22 degree water temperature it was very cold. Apparently two weeks at the end of March/beginning of April are frequently very windy. So beware this period and make sure you bring lots of warm clothes and appropriate dive gear. I was jeaous of those who brought their dry suits. The marine life was also not as good as I normally experience in the Red Sea. Of course none of this was the problem of the boat, which was excellent and I would recommend it unreservedly.

AWESOME boat, crew, and trip!
My last day diving the dolphins came out to play. I had such a great dive, and took so many pictures/videos, it was just truly an amazing experience. And like so many trips, the others on the boat make a huge difference - from other divers to DMs and crew, I had such a great time talking, eating, sharing stories/pictures and just a beer, that you can't ask for a better trip.

Exceeded Expectations
We saw everything! We swam with a school of 22 hammerheads, we saw somersaulting mantas, we got a whale shark! The staff was excellent, the facilities more than comfortable, and the whole experience was fantastic. This was our first liveaboard and certainly not our last - and we would, without reservation, dive with Blue Planet again!

A Balanced Experience
The dive charter was well-organized, offering a generally satisfactory experience. However, some dive guides kept a certain social distance, limiting the interaction that many divers enjoy on such trips. The late departure and early arrival at the harbor reduced valuable time at sea, the primary goal for participants. The missed opportunity to dive at Elphinstone Reef, a highlight, was disappointing. Additionally, the food variety, while decent, was less extensive compared to other charters. Overall, it was a well-managed trip, but these aspects impacted the overall satisfaction.

Very Helpful Tips before booking
The experience We were welcomed on the boat on the 3rd October for the Red Sea tour that ended on October 10. Excluding the day of departure and the day of return, the effective diving days are 6, interval led by the transit trips done predominantly at night. The itinerary included: Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone (Port Ghalib - Port Ghalib) The crew, the accommodations, the food, the cleanliness and the diving guides were almost always meeting my expectations and sometimes even exceeding it. Personal Trick and tips: - Take sea sickness pills before the boat travels, even if you generally don’t suffer sea sickness because sea conditions may be rough, impacting your sleep and ultimately your diving performance/experience - Check yourself of being trained to physically and mentally coupe with stressful conditions such as strong currents, open oceanic water stress (agorafobia) - Ensure to have been trained, and your buddy too (my buddy was fortunately great), to be autonomous in your actions and decision that you ALONE are responsible of!! This because the diving guide can’t be close enough, to each diver, in a group of 8/10+ people. This especially true when the guide was separating from the group searching for attractions (sharks/mantas etc.) or doing souvenir filming, to deliver to the exigent guests, what they have ultimately paid for. - Because of the recommendation above also be aware that popular diving spots may be overcrowded with hundreds of divers and dozens of zodiacs all concentrated inside small area in a caos that requires cold blood and self reliance - Drink, drink and drink, Water! and when you think to be full, drink once more as it is almost impossible to reach the optimal hydration levels being just drinking more than usual. - If you are sensible to passive second hand smoke, cigarette/cigar, and modern vape devices, take this seriously into account when evaluating your level of comfort around heavy smokers. You may end in a group, like mine, where at least 60% of the divers (including the dive guides) and even more, among the crew, were smoking on board. As much they were nice and attentive near non smokers, because of the space available and the wind, it was very hard not to be constantly surrounded by their cloud of smoke. - Bring cash! At least roughly: 280€ for park fees, 150€ for the equipment, 170€ for the Nitrox course, 12€ for the SMB (strangely not included in the equipment rental) 150€ for crew and dive guides tips, as strongly suggested by the dive guide, 10% of the boat trip is the recommended minimum for such tips. Totaling in my case for an additional 762€ on top of the dive trip.

Good diving with the blue seas!
Overall it was a good experience aboard the Blue Seas, this is the second time I am with the Blue Planet Liveaboards - dodgy stomach on both vessels so far, which did somewhat reduce the overall enjoyment. Otherwise, great crew and well looked after.
