Good diving but some safety and guides professionalism concerns

The diving itself was amazing, we saw a whale shark on the last day of diving! The food was good as well. The drinks we so-so, no regular coffee and we had to pay 2 euros per cup for the espresso machine. Now the safety was the worst I've seen so far... The guides took some questionable decisions on a few dives and weren't very friendly when confronted, the boat smoke alarms were NOT working (and this was acknowledged by the crew) and some of the boat's safety rafts were permanently attached to the sun deck (had to find actual scissors somewhere if you were to cut the straps).

Some safety concerns

There were some safety concerns on the boat. We found out that the smoke detectors didn’t work in the whole boat. The crew admitted that they found an issue a few days before the departure but didn’t fix it. Also, many life wests were in a bad shape. Other than that everything was okay. We did St. John’s route and I was a bit underwhelmed by it. Corals are very healthy, but marine life was scarce. In conclusion I wouldn’t recommend neither the boat nor the route.

Recommended for
St. John’s has some of the healthiest corals I’ve ever seen. Swim throughs are amazing.
