Perfectly designed to offer Red Sea diving safaris, the MY Thunderbird was built with divers in mind. Accommodating up to 16 passengers, 7 twin cabins with side-by-side beds and 1 double cabin are available. Each spacious stateroom has a private en-suite bathroom, reading lights, charging points, storage space, and individually controlled AC. The spacious indoor salon, bar, and dining room are on the main deck, where the hotel-experienced chef prepares international and local cuisine to the highest standards. Three buffet meals per day plus snacks throughout the day are available. The M/Y Thunderbird offers ample room for relaxation with 3 partially shaded sundecks complete with sofas, bean bags, and loungers.
The stern of the boat is home to the spacious dive deck with rinse tanks, including a separate one for underwater cameras, individual gear storage, and wetsuit hanging facilities. Nitrox is available for those certified. Safaris aboard the MY Thunderbird vary from 7 to 14 nights and cater to all levels of divers, including special kids safaris, which are fun for the whole family. High value for the money

Top circuit
15 days cruise with highlights. Several dives at the BDE sites to maximize the chance to see hammerheads and the like. Cabin too small (forward) and food always the same The diving platform is convenient

Very good value for money!!
I was really pleased with this experience - overall very good value for money. I could have done a total of 44 dives during the two weeks (had to pause a bit because of a cold). Small boat so we had a pretty familiar atmosphere onboard - most the crew had been on this vessel for a couple of years. Good choice of dive spots and times.

Much better than expected
Very friendly Dive Guides and crew. Boat is not new but crew takes very good care of it. Boat is not big, so small dive groups, we had two groups of 5-6 divers each. Enough food, good variety. Cabins cleaned every day. Very good organization of the trip and additional services like visa, transfers, insurance. Very good price for the quality.

Thunderbird is not a luxury liveaboard, but the overall diving operation and experience during the 2-week trip very pleasant and recommended
