Highlights
SuprabA is a medium-sized phinisi built for open-sea navigation and scuba diving. It was constructed by skilled craftsmen in South Sulawesi, using traditional methods and materials. Pinisi, the art of boatbuilding in South Sulawesi, is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The design of SuprabA merges South Sulawesi boat-building tradition with Western classic sailing yachts. The SuprabA’s seven sails total 210 square meters. The interior layout follows the scheme of classic Western yachts, and the guests’ living areas were designed to respect the occupants’ privacy. The interiors, which combine teak and ironwood, are decorated with classic Indonesian handicrafts, antique lamps, and traditional bronze portholes.
Accommodation on board consists of 6 luxury cabins with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms for 12 guests (an additional 2 guests are allowed), an air-conditioned galley and living room, 3 open decks, and a terrace at the stern. Delicious Indonesian and international cuisine is served on board, and menus are personalized according to the guests’ tastes and requests. Fish barbecue is a classic dining experience on our dive safaris. A beach barbecue is also available upon request.

Great week of liveaboard diving in Raja Ampat
I really enjoyed my week on Supraba. We got lucky and the boat wasn't fully booked, so there was more space and I got upgraded to a much nicer cabin. The crew was just amazing, always a smile on their faces, despite half of them being on fasting (Ramadan) mode. Always helpful, and the food very good. I definitely put on some weight! The dive sites were mostly really good, of course with a week of diving, there are usually a few dive sites that don't meet your expectations quite as much, where we saw some coral bleaching or waste on the surface. My favourite part was around the Fam Islands, I wished we would have spent even more time in that area. Visibility unfortunately wasn't as high as I was used to it from other places in Asia, not sure if this was as per usual or different. I also rented my equipment with them and everything was well taken care of and functioning. We never had to lift a finger, all our gear was set up by the crew for the next dive. Diving off the dinghy, they took care of lifting our gear into the boat, there was a ladder to get in etc. Very easy and holiday mode! In March, the weather was suprisingly often grey and rainy, but often we had the best dives when the weather was not the best. Overall, I would highly recommend this boat and itinerary for someone coming to Raja Ampat for their first time. Perhaps, if it is the second time, I would look into an itinerary heading to Misool or staying longer in the Fam islands, or other further away island groups.

Dream cruise in Komodo islands
We spent three days on the Supraba, while cruising the Komodo islands. We had the chance to travel with the owners of this wonderful boat. They have been so welcoming with us, as well as the amazing crew that took perfectly care of us. So many good memories, the amazing places we had the chance to visit, the delicious food, diving with turtles and mantas, an amazing experience. We felt at home so quickly and enjoyed every minute of our trip, we can only recommend this experience. Thanks to Ugo, Ida and their amazing crew. Alix & Val

This is a true trip to remember... sailing around one of the most magical places ever - on a comfortable, clean and spacious vessel - being wonderfully looked after by the lovely crew.

Simply Outstanding
I’m an avid diver, but my wife does not dive. This was to be our first live-aboard, and we weren’t sure what to expect, or if Jenny would even enjoy it. However, we needn’t have worried because it was a massive success and simply amazing. We were made to feel right at home from the get go. In fact, we very much felt a part of the ship’s family. The cabin was super comfy and the rest of the ship and its facilities super nice, with the food and service faultless. I mentioned Jenny isn’t a diver, but the itinerary served her needs just as much as it did mine. The shore excursions included Komodo Dragons, Pink, Black and White beaches (all at the same time), Fruit Bats at sunset, magical sandbars with baby sharks and much more. The diving was super nice, with wall to wall corals (which were really healthy), and lots of interesting marine life, including manta, sharks, rays and turtles, expertly led by Savri. Truly a 5* experience and one that didn’t happen by accident. Massive congrats to Ugo and Ida for the love and effort they’ve obviously put into Supraba and the whole team.
