Highlights
The MS Wellenreng is a traditional phinisi made entirely of wood. Offering liveaboard diving trips in Indonesia, the 22m phinisi has up-to-date safety features and modern comforts. With just 6 cabins to cater to 6 guests, the M/S Wellenreng offers a more personalized service. Each cabin features an en-suite bathroom with a hot and cold-water shower, individually controlled AC, reading lights, a small desk, charging ports, and ample storage space.
With only 6 guests on board, there is plenty of space to relax during your liveaboard cruise. The outdoor dining area is the perfect place to enjoy delicious Indonesian and Western cuisine while enjoying the sea breeze. The leisure deck provides a great space to sunbathe or relax with a book on the hammock or one of the comfy beanbags. The shaded observation deck is located at the highest point and is ideal for enjoying a cocktail or dolphin spotting. On windy days there is also an indoor salon, which provides enough space for all guests to have dinner or play games.
The team behind the Wellenreng believes that guests onboard should have the best diving experience possible. The crew takes care of all the equipment, and small group numbers mean divers can explore the underwater beauty of Indonesia without being disturbed by other divers. Freshwater rinse tanks for dive equipment and cameras are located on the dive deck, and nitrox and larger tanks are available on request.
Ideal for singles, couples, and small groups, the experienced and professional crew of the Wellenreng liveaboard are ready and waiting. Book online today to start your Indonesian adventure.

Diving in paradise in a very relaxed atmosphere
In March 2025, four of us went on a 13-day trip to Raja Ampat / Misool on the Wellenreng. "Raja Ampat" means "four kings" – and that's exactly how we felt on the Wellenreng. Rosa (the boat operator) and the entire crew made our stay unforgettable! Diving in this part of the world is unique. Being able to enjoy it in such a relaxed atmosphere was a huge privilege. The whole layout of the boat itself is super chilled, the food was consistently excellent, and we were able to explore the individual dive sites under expert guidance. We didn't have to do anything except enjoy our time to the fullest. The extremely friendly crew literally took care of everything. What more could you want? We'd love to get back on the Wellenreng in a heartbeat and embark on the next adventure with the crew! An unforgettable experience that we will always remember.
