Operating since 1998, MY Resolute is one of the longest-running liveaboard vessels in the Philippines. With a highly experienced crew on board, the boat visits Tubbataha from March to June. This UNESCO heritage site offers pristine dive conditions and shark sightings on almost every dive, with the chance of encountering white tip, grey reef, nurse, and hammerhead sharks. From July- to October, M/Y Resolute relocates to the island of Cebu for diving in the Visayas to see whale sharks, thresher sharks, and colorful critters. The ship then navigates to Apo Reef, offering the chance to dive with hammerheads, reef sharks, and other pelagic life.

Casual boat. Good crew. Good diving.

We had good weather and decent diving for the week. Saw mantas, large schools of bumphead parrotfish, many nurse and white tip sharks and schools of barracuda. In most places the reef looked amazingly healthy. Overall, the crew was very helpful and friendly. Boat was a little cramped at times but generally it was a good boat to be on.

Resolutely Wonderful!

The diving was ok. We didn’t have the best conditions. But saw a few manta and some sharks. Highlight was the boat and her crew. One of the better liveaboards I’ve been on.

Dugong and Apo Reef on their best !

17 nice dives - especially the one with the dugong and the others in Apo Reef (bumphead parrotfishes, white tips, turtles ; colorful, pristine and so well preserved corals). Amazing visibility. Staff and dive masters were very professional and friendly (Aika, Gilbert, Jonathan…) Great food cooked by the chef who previously worked at the Shangri-La Manila
