The Caribbean Explorer II liveaboard offers year-round diving at Saba and St. Kitts in the Northern Caribbean. With a blend of comfort and quality, she caters to 18 guests in 9 staterooms, each with either twin or double beds, private en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled AC, and storage space. Five cabins are located on the lower deck, and 4 cabins are on the main deck. On the upper deck is a partially enclosed dining room where guests enjoy gourmet cuisine and amazing views. There is also an air-conditioned salon with an entertainment system. The sun deck has loungers for relaxing between dives. The large dive platform at the back of the main deck is equipped with individual gear lockers, a large camera table with low-pressure air hoses, recharging stations, tank racks, a bathroom, and separate freshwater rinse baths for dive equipment and cameras.
Dive itineraries aboard the Caribbean Explorer II explore some of the best dive sites in the northern Caribbean. Known for its offshore pinnacles, deep underwater seamounts, finger reefs, recent wrecks, and various coral labyrinths, Saba and St. Kitts have a lot to offer divers underwater. Diving in Saba Marine Park mixes steep vertical walls and coral labyrinths. Expect to see reef sharks, turtles, rays, and more. Protected in 1987, Saba Marine Park encompasses the waters and seabed encircling the entire Caribbean island of Saba, ensuring the park's thriving aquatic life remains healthy. Diving in St Kitts is a diversity of wrecks, ancient relics, and bustling coral reefs. Some top dive sites here include the Wreck of the River Taw, Anchors Aweigh, and Paradise Reef. Divers can see various macro life, including frogfish and sea horses, as well as sharks, turtles, and octopuses. Night dives on the reefs are immensely active, followed by hot towels and cocoa.

First live aboard but definitely not last
This was my first live aboard experience and to say it set the standard is an understatement. Rodney the captain did a great job fighting us good water. And only two dives the entire week had poor visibility, I think that’s pretty gosh darn impressive. He knew where to find the water. Our dive instructors on board, Jon and Sheldon, we’re great both on deck and in the water. Jermain and Tevin kept us safe And Amber ran that boat like a well oiled machine. And I am still in awe of the food Julian was able to prepare in the middle of the ocean. Shout out to the crisp salad.

Amazingly awesome!!!!
Amazing experience overall! Captain Ian knew the best sites! Tony and Henry were awesome dive guides. Everyone on board from crew members to passengers were friendly and awesome! We bonded quickly. The amazing food was fresh and delicious…Chef Julian rocked every meal and snack!

Great boat, great crew, great food, tons of fun dives
I fully enjoyed my liveaboard with the Caribbean Explorer II and all its crew. Dive guides Henry and Denzel and Captain Rodney were the best part of the boat for me. The food was also excellent. But from the moment of arriving to the boat at the port on Sat PM to disembarking on Sat AM, I felt like I was in excellent hands with a very customer service-oriented crew. The boat was clean and organized, my cabin was clean and comfortable with incredible AC, the diving was plentiful and fun (especially Saba...just gorgeous...reef sharks, nurse sharks, nudis, rays, queen angels, queen triggerfish, a couple octopus, a seahorse...just, so fun), the Saba land tour was great (that's the only one I did), and more. This was my first liveaboard experience, I went alone, and I fully enjoyed it. The other guests who joined on this trip were just a delight too. From this experience, I'm encouraged to do many other liveaboards in the future.

- The ship was organized -- from the charging station to the saloon, it all worked well. The ship and my cabin were clean -- I was very comfortable in my room and anywhere in the boat. The crew were awesome -- I especially loved our dive guides and captain...they were all warm, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Turtles, turtles, and a few more turtles. Saba was amazing. Knowledgeable and experienced dive guides - always willing to answer questions.

Pleasantly Surprised in St. Kitts/Saba
So, I am not new to liveaboards. I believe this is the 21st one, second time on the Caribean Explorer. I don't remember the diving being this good on my first trip. Possibly due to being more involved with taking photos at that time. I started diving in Nevis when I was a kid, so I have always had an attachmet to this area. I was pleasently surprised with the diving, especially in St. Kitts. sharks, turtles, various crabs, slipper lobsters and even flying gurnards. Saba is always fun, so no surprise there. Small, but well maintained boat and as always a good crew...

Amazing vacation
Seeing a dolphin very up close, lots of sharks and other smaller creatures. The crew on the boat put it over the top though, they were all very helpful and knowledgeable and made the entire trip fun!
