Built in 2016 the MV Lapat liveaboard offers 4-night dive cruises to the Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. Guests choose between 2 cabins types. There are 2 Master cabins with en-suite bathrooms and 6 twin cabins with shared bathrooms, all equipped with hot-water showers and eco-friendly toiletries. M/V Lapat caters to just 16 guests ensuring a more personalised service. Social areas include an indoor salon with LCD TV & entertainment system. There is also a shaded outdoor dining area where freshly prepared dishes of Thai and international cuisine are served buffet style. On the top level, there is a huge partially shaded sun deck with mattresses, perfect for relaxing in-between dives.
The crew and guides of the M/V Lapat have more than 30 years experience in the Andaman Sea. Similan Island dive trips are 4 nights/4 days long and explore world-class dive areas such as Richelieu Rock, the Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai. Crystal clear waters, diverse marine-life and the chance of whale-shark encounters make this one of the best dive areas in the region.

Please Note: Lapat liveaboard may also collect divers for day diving during its cruise itinerary. These divers will dive from the boat during the day but not necessarily stay onboard overnight.

Too many divers on the boat
Under water was great! Dive guide was wonderful but the boat is older and tired. There were way too many day trip divers on board which meant that it took 2 hours to get everyone in and out of the water as groups went in stages.

Opened up a new way of diving
Meeting lots of different people from numerous countries and of course the diving. Diving on Richelieu rock was incredible. The boat was brilliant not too big. The staff and the food were exceptional ;)
