El MY Manta es un crucero de lujo de 33 metros que puede acomodar a 18 buceadores en 9 camarotes con baño en suite y aire acondicionado. Este crucero dispone de todo lo necesario para vivir un viaje de buceo inolvidable. Podemos relajarnos en el amplio salón con aire acondicionado, tomar el sol en la terraza o disfrutar de impresionantes vistas desde la terraza de proa.
La embarcación anexa es un dhoni de 20 metros con 2 compresores donde se guardará el equipo de buceo durante todo el viaje para que podamos centrarnos en descubrir los fantásticos fondos de las Maldivas sin renunciar a la máxima comodidad a bordo del M/Y Manta.
Tras las inmersiones, podremos saciar el hambre en el restaurante a bordo que ofrece un bufet de comida local, tailandesa, italiana o internacional en los desayunos y comidas y un servicio de mesa para las cenas. World Class All Around
Manta Cruise is the real deal. We spent time at a resort in the Maldives and found that the service, activities, and food were much better aboard this live aboard. This is the way to dive the Maldives and not miss out on quality of service.

Superb snorkeling in the Maldives above the divers
As, one guest said it, "once in a lifetime trip in the Maldives diving and snorkeling". I was a snorkeler, I do not dive, I was explained how and where to snorkel each location during the diver's briefing. I wore a bright colored Life Jacket so I could easily be seen in open water. During snorkeling besides all the hundreds of fish I also observed shark, sting ray and manta rays. The Manta Dive master assigned a crew member specifically to watch and guide me during my open ocean snorkeling while he was underwater with his divers. As I listened during the briefings it was clearly stated: "this how and where they were diving. Safety was first and foremost explained to us. The Captain provided a smooth and safe trip. The crew provide us with the upmost service from start to finish. The meals were superb 5***** I hope to possibly return to the Manta Cruise in 2-3 years for a second "once in a lifetime trip" Thank you ,Thomas the dive master the captain and his crew. Great diving trip
The whole week was great. Highlight was watching the manta and swimming at night with the sharks. Suggestion: include nitrox with the fee as well as soft drinks, even if it is one soft drink per person per day. We could not afford to buy the drinks or use nitrox because of our currency rate exchange made it far too expensive. Other boats include it in their fee.

Im Großen und Ganzen alles o.k.
Die ganze Reise war wirklich sehr schön. Leider habe ich versäumt, mich über die Anzahl der Tauchgänge genau zu informieren, da ich bisher ( bin seit 27 Jahren unterwegs) nie Schwierigkeiten hatte, und diesmal die Tauchgänge am vorletzten Tag kostenpflichtig gewesen wären. Bisher war immer non Limit.

Huge fish life!
Thomas was an excellent host/trip director. Dives always properly planned and safety briefings were detailed. He is excellent with taking trip footage too. You get a lot of value from the Deep South trip for 'big stuff' given it is relatively close to Europe. I have dived Egypt many times and do think this is a better option if you don't want to do Far East or Pacific. We saw hammerheads, threshers, whalesharks (2 behind the boat!), mantas, schooling nurse and grey sharks and massive schools of red/black snappers, jacks, surgeon fish and much more. This is not a trip if you want to see colorful corals and smaller stuff (although we did see leaffish nudibranchs and ghost pipefish). Will definitely go again next year.

AMAZING
Awesome dives, some of them a bit challenging but we've always been helped by our guide Chacha, very professional, friendly and caring. Detailed briefings and interesting presentation on mantas by Cruise Director Thomas, who is also very friendly and helpful and did a fabulous video of the whole trip. Focus on safety really appreciated. Captain and crew always helpful, boat very nice and comfortable (particularly appreciated comfort and space on the Dhoni). Food amazing, chef so kind as to provide alternatives for special dietary needs. Very nice sunset and dinner on a small desert island.
