Highlights
Bajak is a newly renovated boat that brings forth a pirate-like atmosphere while maintaining modern-day comforts for 12 guests. Made mostly from ironwood and teakwood salvaged from decommissioned boats, the Bajak operates as a liveaboard boat in the beautiful setting of the Komodo National Park and offers access to one of the richest marine environments in the world including stunning coral reefs, seagrass beds, seamounts, pinnacles, dramatic walls, overhangs, semi-enclosed bays, and Komodo Dragons. The exterior offers a spacious, shaded deck for dive preparation and access to an unshaded rooftop with comfortable bean bags and sun mattresses for tanning and relaxing. The dining table is set right in the open galley. The living space consists of 4 air-conditioned cabins: 1 cabin with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom and 3 shared cabins with 4 bunk beds and 2 shared bathrooms. Additionally, there is a furnished undercover space primed for relaxing and keeping cool.
The itineraries can be set to meet everyone’s picture of a perfect holiday. Complementary to diving are surfing, sailing, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding. Guided walks on the local islands are also possible, allowing one to see the notorious Komodo dragon. Komodo offers some of the best diving in the world, with dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Balong, and Batu Tiga. The reserve is teeming with diversity. Dugongs, manta rays, white-tip reef sharks, and hawksbill turtles are just a few residents. There is also the option to do your advanced diving course on-site. My experience with my first living abroad was unforgettable, especially when it came to diving. The dive spots were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning marine life and crystal-clear waters. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, making us feel safe and well-informed throughout every dive. The crew was also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to make this adventure so memorable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic dive trip
Fantastic trip! Our guide picked the dive sites flawlessly and were beautiful and full of life, not over run with other dive groups. Did not do much other than diving, so may want to pick something else if you want more of a mix of trekking and island hopping. Food and crew were amazing.

I thought it was going to be great and it was epic
I had high expectations but they surpassed it. To begin with, the crew was friendly, had a huge smile on their face all the time and they made everything to make us feel at home. We were very lucky with our group because everyone was very respectful, calm and made the living experience very enjoyable. Then the dive sites - WOW! I enjoyed diving with currents, it was so much fun and I loved the kind of marine life that came with it, like sharks, giant fishes and mantas. And the boat was very spacious which made it easy to be comfortable in the relaxing time. Oh! And I was almost forgetting about the food! Thank you Henry for the delicious various meals that you prepared every day. If it weren’t for all the diving we would have come back with a few kilos for sure. Thank you all 🤗

Amazing live aboard experience
I did my advance course on the cruise and had the most amazing experience. The dives were challenging, but I had detailed explanation and felt fully supported! Staff in general made me feel like Family for the four days on the sea. Super yummy snacks and variety of food as well. The boat was just the perfect size for the group and had some cool and comfy chilling spaces.

Would definitely choose Scuba Republic again
Scuba Republic are a world class group who dive world class sites. The dive masters are from the local area and know the flora and fauna very well. They interacted with the guest and delivered an amazing experience for all on board. There was a variety of dive skill on the boat and the team divided everyone into perfect groups. We were fortunate to see some big fauna including manta rays, however spotting pigmy seashores and orangutan crabs was just as amazing! The team are energetic with a love of underwater adventure. I highly recommend diving Labuan Bajo on a Scuba Republic liveaboard.

Amazing trip
It was an amazing experience to spend 4 days in Bajak with Scuba Republic. We also completed our advanced open water diver with Franck, the best guide we could have wished for. Very professional and has a great knowledge of everything you need to improve your diving skills. Overall, the crew and also the other guests were really nice and we had an amazing time. Would book it again anytime and can fully recommend it without any doubt

Every aspect of the trip was amazing, the instructors were so knowledgable, fun and helpful, the crew were so lovely and fun. Food was amazing, company was amazing and the diving was UNREAL. Best time ever!

Unforgettable Komodo dive adventure.
Sure! Here's a refined version: I recently embarked on a liveaboard trip to Komodo National Park, and it was an unforgettable experience. Komodo’s dive sites are truly among the best in the world, and having detailed information about each site beforehand is crucial to make the most of every dive. Manta paradise in Komodo
Did the 4d/3n Komodo Liveaboard in August 2024. The crew lead by Yunus has a perfect combination of fun and 100% professionalism. We always felt safe. It was a fantastic trip with incredible dive sites and for me personally the best in 28 years diving. Keep the spirit 👍

These were 4 days to never forget.
It was a great experience. We were very lucky with our very nice co-guests and with the great crew. The diving was very professionally guided, with honest descriptions of what challenges to expect. Fantastic food. Perfect and secure care for getting back safely after diving or snorkling, the gear, the tanks, the boat, the cleaning. We noticed a hard working crew with a great sense of humor and much care for each other and for us. And we had so much fun, we laughed a lot playing games and joking about everything.
