Great trip

Very good energy & vibes! Very informative on the wildlife, and the wrecks so we knew the history & characteristics of what we were seeing while diving. Friendly & welcoming staff, felt at home. Music & dinner in the evening on the top deck was beautiful. Took an advanced course on board & the instructor did a wonderful job, very attentive & thorough.

First Liveaboard experience was the best we could have hoped for

Able to enjoy 18 of the 20 dives which at 73 did not exhaust us out like usual from shore based. Crew and particularly Chef surprised us with delicious food and we did not lose weight which usually happens in the Philippines as I am vegetarian. Dive guides and especially the Dive instructor was especially helpful in advanced instruction for me and helping my wife be much more comfortable with her descent and buoyancy issues that we are certain to want to return with this vessel!

Nice trip, but overpriced for the low budget quality of the boat

The crew were very helpful and friendly and did their very best to make the trip brilliant for us. Special shout-out to the two Chefs who worked hard in very tough conditions. They made me vegetarian dishes everyday, which were tasty and appreciated. The boat is a converted cargo ship and not fit for purpose. The engine and generator are so loud you couldn’t sleep. The Aircon was very old and also VERY noisy. I booked a Twin room but was given a bunk bed instead and it was noisy due to being right next to the dining room. There was only one plug socket for two people. The room had cockroaches. The slippy bathroom door was dangerous and there’s no ventilation in the bathroom, meaning a constantly wet, slippy room which was very smelly. I had dirt from the pipes spraying from the sink (up the walls). Low quality, polyester bedding. The kitchen is in the very centre of the boat and has no ventilation, it’s a major fire hazard and awful for the crew to have to work in. The railings on the top deck below safe height. Our dive masters were a little inexperienced on this route. On occasions time was wasted on dives because the dive guide didn’t know the sites well. Briefings were light and hard to hear because of the generator. Mid-trip, the owner came aboard with a friend, a nanny and three children (3 year twins and an 11 year old). A liveaboard isn’t a place for children so young and I was personally woken up each day by the children playing outside my room - which isn’t really what you want on a holiday. The diving was good. Typhoon weather impacted visibility. We saw some small sharks and plenty of turtles, no Manta’s, wharksharks or manatees but lots of other cool stuff and the coral is in good condition. That’s diving for ya! Overall, a good trip, but this liveaboard is highly overpriced for the quality of the vessel, especially in light of no equipment or Nox, or alcohol inclusion. Thanks to the kind and hardworking crew. I hope the bosses of this vessel take note of the improvements needed to ensure Navis becomes a good option for divers.

Fantastic value and even better staff/crew

Had a fantastic time on the Coron Safari It’s important to bear in mind this is, by comparison, a budget liveaboard, you’re not going to get a Mandarin Orient experience on a Holiday Inn budget. The boat itself is more than sufficient for its purpose, rooms were small but comfortable, plenty railings outside to hang your wet clothes, sometimes with clips/hangers, sometimes just tying them on The dive prep area can get pretty busy before dives but the groups are split and go out in phases so as long as everyone waits their turn it works well. One thing to bear in mind is the vessel doesn’t have a load of soundproofing, the engine and generator sounds, plus the tank refill, are not really muted so if you’re a light sleeper be aware. Again, if you want a dead quiet room there are plenty of far more expensive vessels that will offer that. The dives cater to all interests, from wrecks to reefs, even a freshwater lake. Obviously can’t control nature and which animals decide to show up but each dive has its own character and appeal I said earlier you won’t get a Mandarin Orient experience on a Holiday Inn budget. However that does not apply when considering the crew and staff, who were by far the stars of the trip. Every meal was fantastic, I was always amazed they could do so much from the vessel galley, even going so far as to bake a vegan birthday cake for one of the guests. We had a few minor issues like a noisy aircon which were quickly resolved, usually without us even knowing as they were done during a dive. Everyone would go out of their way to help you, always huge smiles and great rapport, it didn’t feel like you’d only known them for a few days. Honestly I cannot praise the entire staff and crew enough, they really were outstanding and the highlight of the trip. What was great is they seemed to genuinely enjoy being out there as well, an example being when we saw dolphins by the prow of the boat, they were just as excited as everyone else to watch them swimming. It made it feel a lot more homely My partner and I were more interested in the wreck diving, after getting to know what each diver wanted our guides catered the dives to the group, JJ spending more time inside the wrecks with us while the others spent more time outside enjoying the corals/animals. That approach of considering what we were interested in and aiming to cater to each persons interest really made it feel a lot more personalized than just a “dive factory”. Overall I was more than happy with my experience. As long as you’re fully aware it’s not a luxury vessel you won’t be disappointed and either way you’ll get 5 star service

Helemaal top en zeker aan te raden

Deze route is prachtig en heeft veel afwisseling. Van eilandjes tot frak duiken tot prachtig grief. Het is van alles wat waardoor het een hele mooie fijne afwisselende reis is.

De ruime boot Geeft je veel Leefplevier na het duiken. En het is ook een stabiele boot waardoor je zeker niet ziek wordt. vanaf het dek blijft het zo prachtig om naar de strandjes te kijken. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en je ziet dat er veel plezier aan boord is . Iedereen helpt elkaar en is super vriendelijk met alles wat je vraagt. Het eten is ook fantastisch.. Het duiken is prachtig en ze kijken echt hoe je Wens is met duiken. Er wordt alles aangedaan om je wens te vervullen..
