Met een maximum van 8 gasten biedt het Dragon ive liveaboard spannende duikreizen aan naar Komodo Nationaal Park. De Dragon Dive is een traditionele houten driemaster die is gebouwd in 2017. Het schip kan 8 gasten onderbrengen in 3 tweepersoonscabines en 1 tweepersoonssuite. Iedere cabine beschikt over airconditioning en een eigen ensuite badkamer. De suite heeft ook een eigen balkon. Daarnaast is er genoeg ruimte voor ontspanning aan boord. Het zonnedek is ingericht met comfortabele ligbedden en hangmatten, waardoor dit de perfecte plek is om een boek te lezen of van het schitterende uitzicht te genieten. De overdekte outdoor lounge is een fijne plek om uw dag af te sluiten met een koud drankje. Ten slotte worden er iedere dag vers klaargemaakte Indonesische en internationale gerechten geserveerd in de openlucht eethoek.
De routes van de Dragon Dive duren 2, 3 of 4 nachten en ontdekken de noordelijke, centrale en zelfs de meer afgelegen plekken van Zuid-Komodo. Hier worden regelmatig blauwe walvissen gespot vanaf de boot. Tevens kunnen vanaf hier duikplekken zoals de 3 Sisters bereikt worden. Alle reizen zijn inclusief een wandeling in Rinca om de legendarische Komodovaraan te aanschouwen. Daarnaast staan er ook strandbezoeken, zwemmen en snorkelen op het programma.

Once we got past some of the ‘starter’ dives, the dives were exceptional with lots of beautiful corral and sea life of all sizes. The boat was adequate, but surprisingly run down for only being 1 year old. There was very little shade on the boat which made it tough between dives, I understand a canopy was blown off in a storm, but it covered an eating area right near the scuba equipment where you don’t really see anything because of the hanging wetsuits, etc. the gerator is located on top of the boat, on the sun deck and doesn’t allow for a peaceful evening, especially one evening when it broke and they spent a lot time fixing it so we had the repair noise, lights (made it hard to star gaze) and the smell of gas all evening. It shuts off about 9-10, but then no a/c for the rest of the night. The a/c didn’t work in most rooms anyway. Most people slept on the deck because the rooms are too hot. The food was very good, but there was too much of it was fried. Enough complaining. The crew and dive guides were great, they knew exactly where to go, kept us safe and showed us everything from pigmy sea horses to mantas and sharks. I will recommend this boat to my friends, especially if they put in some port maintenace. It was definitely adequate for what I wanted to do, dive Komodo for a reasonable price.

An excellent trip which I really enjoyed
This was the best dive guiding that I have ever experienced in all my time diving. We were a group of very mixed diving ability and the way this was handled was excellent. The crew were all so friendly and there was a great atmosphere on the boat. It just shows you do not have to spend a lot of money to have a great experience. I also enjoyed all the other activities that were offered apart from the diving. The beach visits and sunset trips were excellent.

Fantastic diving experience!
Crews were very helpful and friendly Instructor/ DM were experience and professional Very detailed dive briefing and great drawing on dive site Occasional power trip and intermittent of water supply for bathing and flushing. (no big issue) After the last dive of the trip, there was a low lever supply of water that pump could not pump up to the shower head and crews were very helpful in delivering pails of water to us. Definitely worth recommending!

Superbe croisière plongées
Superbes plongées, convivialité et intimité car nous n'étions que 7 plongeurs (capacité max de 8 plongeurs). Les deux treks prévus en plus des plongées, un pour le couché du soleil et un autre dans le parc national de Komodo pour contempler les varans.

Unbeschreibliches Abenteuer mit einer super Crew
Das Highlight war die gesamte Reise! Das Tauchboot ist gut ausgestattet. Grundsätzlich sehr einfach gestaltet aber man alles was man braucht. Die Crew ist unglaublich herzlich und hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Das Essen war sehr köstlich! Dieses Liveaboard kann ich nur empfehlen!
