Highlights
The Blue Dolphin is a brand-new boat built in 2022 and is 27.5 meters / 90 feet long, providing plenty of space for guests to enjoy their time on board. There are 4 different types of air-conditioned cabins available, including the Upper Deck Master Cabin with an ensuite bathroom, a Kingsize bed (or 2 single beds), and stunning views of the sea. The Main Deck Master Cabin is also ensuite and offers a large double bed (or 2 single beds) and direct access to the main deck. Standard Twin and Quad shared Cabins don't have ensuite facilities, but they share 4 bathrooms between them. There is a spacious dive deck so divers can kit up comfortably. The food is served in buffet style and is a mix of local and western cuisine.
The Similan Islands are home to some of the most beautiful corals and marine life in the world, making them a true haven for scuba divers and nature lovers alike. The Blue Dolphin offers 4-day trips that include stops at Similans, Koh Bon, Tachai, Richelieu, and Seachart. Visited dive sites include West of Eden, Shark Fin Reef, Boulder City, Elephant Head Rock, Turtle Rock, North Point, Three Trees, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai Pinnacle, the famous Richelieu Rock, and Boonsung Wreck.

Amazing first time!
This was our first Liveaboard and it was a great experience. The crew puts safety first, friendliness and comfort was also addressed. I thought the number of guests on board was perfect.

Great liveaboard with Blue Dolphin!
Great liveaboard experience. Rooms are comfortable. The service and staff were amazing. You definitely don’t loose weight as the food is superb!! They are detailed oriented - like when you finish a dive they have hot little towels waiting for you. They also have detail items for cameras - like special towels for cameras and air to dry them. Dives were great. Everyone on the boat has a smile and is making sure that everyone is happy. Highly recommend. We are seasoned divers and have done multiple liveaboards- and this one stood out for us.

Can't Find a Con
I've never felt so honored to write a review. Coming from the USA to SE Asia for the first time, my friend and I were unsure what to expect aboard the Blue Dolphin. Specifically, I was uncertain they'd be able to accommodate my vegan+ gluten friendly diet, but I was so ignorant! The Blue Dolphin and her crew were the perfect balance of kindness and fun. They were extremely professional, but were able to enjoy laughs and stories all together. The ship is as large and spread out as I could hope. Plenty of room for quiet reading or sharing of fish tales. The rooms were kept so clean and cool. After each dive, the crew handed us a fresh drink and warm towel which became the only good part of getting out of those beautiful waters. To top it all off, I think I can say with full honesty that the stuffed me to the brim with some of the best food I've had in my entire life. Traveling through asia as a gluten free vegan was not easy, or not until I boarded the Blue Dolphin. I'm still thinking about those curries a month later. My review wouldn't be complete without a heartfelt thank you to Bri, our lovely guide. There were only 12 drivers aboard, and Bri + my buddy and I had our own unique dive each time. Bri's energy and excitement helped us embrace the beauty of this area, and she's extremely knowledgeable about the sea and its critters! Wow, what a great crew, and a trip to remember. Thank you, Big Blue!

Absolutely stunning boat and trip!
The boat was just redone and completely beautiful! All the amenities and the bathrooms were especially nice. Loved the boat, loved the crew, loved the dives, and loved the food! Thanks again Boots and crew for an amazing trip! X

Awesome
I am an experienced liveaboard diver. I have been diving on much more expensive liveaboard boats. However I have never been treated as well as I was treated on the blur Dolphin. The staff literally bent over backwards to accommodate all my needs, both dietary and physical. The next time I go diving in Thailand it will be with the blue Dolphin without a 2nd thought.

Wir empfehlen Blue Dolphin
Die Tauchsafari hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden wieder mit Blue Dolphin reisen. Der Service war hervorragend und alle Crewmitglieder sind engagiert und arbeiten hart für den hohen Komfort und die Sicherheit der Touristen. Zu jedem Zeitpunkt waren die Interaktionen fröhlich, herzlich und professionell. Die Verköstigung war ausgezeichnet und es gab nach jedem Tauchgang ca. 4 unterschiedliche Speisen zur Auswahl - herrlich. Das Boot ist sauber, ordentlich und wird effizient und routiniert geführt. Die Crew ist gegenüber den Tauchern sehr aufmerksam und nimmt den Touristen von Anfang bis Ende jegliche Anstrengung ab. Die Klimaanlage in der Kabine ist teilweise recht kalt und kann nicht fein adjustiert werden (abschalten ist keine Option!). Die angefahrenen Tauchplätze haben uns gut gefallen. Auch der berühmte Richelieu Rock wird seinem Ruf gerecht und wird gleich 3 Mal betaucht - top! Wir hatten Mitte November leider keine Großfischbegegnungen und sahen keine Haie, Rochen, Walhaie und lediglich 1 Schildkröte. Da Blue Dolphin dafür nichts kann gibt es von uns verdient die volle Punktezahl! Danke für das schöne Erlebnis
