Highlights
The Amelie Safari liveaboard offers a more intimate Red Sea dive experience with just 12 guests onboard. There are 6 comfortable cabins located on the lower deck, each with twin bunk beds, storage space, charging area, and port-hole windows. There are also 2 shared bathrooms with freshwater showers. Social areas include the cosy indoor saloon, dining room, and drinks station, where freshly prepared Egyptian cuisine will be served buffet-style. The whole top deck is an open area with an outdoor covered lounge. Sun -lovers have the choice of 3 areas to sunbathe, including the front deck and high deck which have comfy mattresses to lounge on in-between dives.
Amelie Safari is perfect for a short Red Sea adventure with 3-night itineraries available for those short on time, or longer 7-night itineraries for those that want to enjoy a full week of diving in the Red Sea. There is a large dive deck at the back of the boat with more than enough room for divers to get ready, and Nitrox is also included in the trip price for those certified. Amelie Safari can also be hired out for private charter, perfect for small groups of friends and family.

Wonderful first liveaboard experience with the prettiest corals ever
Just had my first live aboard experience with Amelie Safari - Best of Hurghada 4D3N and the trip has been spectacular. I saw everything I needed to see and all the dives were so spectacular from the different wrecks to the most beautiful coral in the world and all kinds of different marine life. The crew is so caring boat is nice and cute for 9 people. We spotted a dolphin in the reef around sunset on 3rd day and they just sent us on the zodiac to find them and snorkel with them. And we did! Our amazing zodiac captain and dolphin whisperer certainty did and it was such a good experience snorkeling with dolphins in the open ocean out of luck. I would come back again. :) Also, I became advanced open water and nitrox certified on this trip! €210 for the advanced and €132 for nitrox, which seemed cheaper than other options I saw before. And it was totally worth it because it just a little add on to my dives and we did so many cool ones like 2 wrecks, 2 night, 3ish deep, yea it was awesome! Safety was a slight concern once I landed in Egypt and Hurghada, e.g. the Uber app doesn't work that well and drivers want to charge you more in cash, and the land is just kind of barren (and the U.S. travel advisory ranking Egypt as level 3 and 4). I had my alert up the whole time but once I got on the water everything was the polar opposite, I felt so safe and comfortable the whole time, the red sea is so beautiful and so calming.

Felt like home away from home in Egypt on the Sea!
The trip was an all around joy. The people were absolutely fantastic - five stars all around for the food, hospitality and dive guiding. It was my boyfriend's birthday the day after we finished our trip and the crew threw him a birthday party with a homemade cake! It was amazing. The dives kept getting better and we left not wanting it to be over. Can't wait to come back! The cabins were minimal and the ac wasn't always on but were simple and all we needed. If you're looking for luxury - look elsewhere but if you want a great boat full of a great people and superb dives then you're in good hands.

All around great trip
Even when the weather was bad the dives were amazing and the crew was very positive. The cook on board made sure we always had a variety of meals and constant snacks. There was always additional amenities available and all needs were met to the fullest extent. The only downside was the quality of rental gear but that is fairly normal for Hurghada.

Great Experience
The diving was amazing, we saw so many different species and that was a huge highlight, but this was our first experience on a liveaboard and it couldn't have gone better. The crew was amazing and we loved the boat. They took great care of it and us and I was surprised at how great the food was. We had snacks available all the time, 3 meals a day and unlimited drinks. Absolutely loved it!

Great trip for the money
This was the most enjoyable liveaboard experience I have had. This was because the crew made this trip. They were so attentive and treated us like royalty. We were not allowed to lift a finger. They made this a true vacation. Also, the small amount of other divers was so nice. We pulled up to other boats with twice to three times as many divers and the deck seemed like chaos and the dive sites were so crowded. Our dive master and boat captain worked hard to keep us away from other dive boats and was able to modify the dive schedule to make sure we were not in the water with other divers from the other boats. There were just a few times this was unavoidable and it was crowded in the water. It made me really appreciate the attentiveness to this detail our dive master and captain made to truly make every dive an enjoyable one. Overall, this is a wonderful trip with a fantastic crew.
