Perfekt designet für kleine Gruppen oder Individualreisende denen ein persönlicher Service besonders wichtig ist, bietet die Carpe Diem Phinisi ganz jährlich Tauchreisen in Raja Ampat und im Komodo Nationalpark. Es gibt nur 4 Kabinen an Bord, die Platz für maximal 8 Gäste haben. Die Nutmeg Kabine ist eine große Doppelkabine auf dem Hauptdeck und nimmt fast die gesamte Breite des Schiffes ein. Sie hat große Fenster und ein Oberlicht sowie viel Stauraum. Auf dem Unterdeck befindet sich die Clove Kabine mit 2 Einzelbetten, die auf Wunsch in ein Doppelbett verwandelt werden können. Außerdem befinden sich die Pandan und Cinnamon Kabinen auf dem Unterdeck. Diese haben je ein Doppel- und ein Einzelbett und können bei Bedarf auf von 3 Gästen genutzt werden. Die Kabinen unter Deck haben natürliches Licht und Ventilation durch ein Bullauge und Oberlicht und alle Kabinen haben ein eigenes Badezimmer sowie Klimaanlage.
Zu den Gemeinschaftsräumen gehört ein gut ausgestatteter Salon im Deckshaus, wo sich bequem 8 Gäste um den großen Tisch aufhalten können. Die leckeren Mahlzeiten mit regionalen Zutaten werden im Open-Air Essbereich serviert und es kann bei Voranmeldung auf Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten eingegangen werden.
Tauchsafaris mit der Carpe Diem Phinisi führen von November bis April nach Raja Ampat, von Mai bis September nach Komodo und zwischendurch nach Ambon, die Bandasee und den Süden von Raja Ampat. Tauchgruppen sind klein und jede Gruppe wird von einem qualifizierten Tauchguide begleitet, der die Gegend gut kennt. Die Nutzung von Tauchequipment ist im Preis inkludiert.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Wunderschöne Zeit
Unsere Woche auf der Carpe Diem war großartig. Das Schiff ist wunderschön und sehr luxurios. Die Crew ist unfassbar freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gab immer eine große Auswahl. Das Tauchen war grandios, wir haben uns immer sehr sicher gefühlt und wahnsinnig viel gesehen. Wir planen schon unseren nächsten Trip auf der Carpe Diem!

Incredible dive trip!
The crew and service of this liveaboard are by far the best that I’ve experienced in the diving community. Cecile, Agus, Martin, and the rest of the crew are nothing but the best and made sure that every guest had the best time in terms of diving, food, and comfort on the boat. I’ve been on many liveaboards, dive centers and resorts and they provided the absolute best service and diving I’ve experienced. Their mission is to provide the best and they live up to it. I can’t compliment each and every member of their crew enough!

Fantastic Southern Raja Ampat Experience
I recently completed a Southern Raja Ampat liveaboard trip, and it was absolutely amazing! Every single dive exceeded my expectations, with top-notch marine life and beautiful underwater scenery. Although currents can be strong in some areas, the boat’s expert dive timing and guides made it manageable and safe. From pre-booking communication right through to disembarkation, the entire process was smooth. I particularly enjoyed the food, which offered a tasty blend of Indonesian dishes and other cuisines. My cabin and bathroom were spacious and impeccably clean, and it was clear that the boat itself is well-maintained and in excellent condition. One of the standout aspects was having the owner onboard as both cruise director and dive guide. This personal touch made the experience even more special, as there was no disconnect or “middle management” in the mix. My only small regret was the lack of nitrox availability. Initially, I was worried about shorter bottom times and feeling extra fatigued due to multiple dives on standard air. However, because most of the dive sites weren’t extremely deep, I found that not having nitrox wasn’t a significant issue—and I’d still happily do another trip without it. Overall, I can’t recommend this Southern Raja Ampat liveaboard highly enough. It’s a wonderful choice if you’re looking for well-organized diving, top-tier service, and a truly personal onboard experience. I’m already looking forward to my next adventure with them!

Absolutely amazing dives and experience
Challenging myself with harder dives than I’ve ever done before. The crew were excellent teachers and really helped accommodate all on board by picking dive sights suitable to everyone’s skill levels to the best of their ability

Poor dive gear rental, bring your own or rent somewhere else.
The 5 other guests were delightful nice people and good divers. Most of the crew members of the boat were helpful and friendly. We had gone on this trip to dive with whale sharks and the only time we did that was when they were being fed fish by the crew for 2 hours. The dive sites from Kaimana were poor compared to Raja Ampat. Generally we felt disappointed.
