De Manta Queen 8, de nieuwste aanwinst van de Manta Queen-vloot, biedt 6-daagse/5-nachten/19-duiktrips naar Similan en Surin Marine Parks, met vertrek vanuit Phuket. De reizen beginnen op de eerste dag vroeg in de avond met een diner aan boord. De 3 daarop volgende dagen kunt u 4 duiken per dag maken, inclusief 1 nachtduik in de Andamanzee. De laatste dag krijgt u de kans om 3 duiken rond Koh Bon en Boon Sung Wreck te maken voor u later in de middag weer moet uitchecken. De duikgroepen worden klein gehouden met een maximum van 5 duikers. Nitrox is tegen een meerprijs verkrijgbaar.
De Manta Queen 8 kan tot 24 gasten onderbrengen in 10 tweepersoons cabines. Iedere cabine heeft airconditioning en een eigen en-suite badkamer. Voor ontspanning kunnen gasten de openbare ruimtes zoals de indoor lounge met HD-TV en het zonnedek opzoeken. Dit is een geweldige plek om tussen de duiken door of aan het einde van de dag te relaxen. Alle maaltijden worden vers klaargemaakt en worden in buffetstijl in het openluchtrestaurant geserveerd. Tussen de duiken door zijn er snacks en fruit beschikbaar.

Meh, less than average. The crew made the trip, not the dives or the guides.
A hard pressed average at best. The boat is dated and needs attention and upgrades. Our power went out at least once a day and the breaker had to be flipped. A couple of the guides were engaging and amazing. The others kept to themselves in the ac salon and seemed more irritated with groups than not. Our guide was more interested in taking pictures and showing the critter to other guides than involving the divers in that group. I was taking pictures and stated I love macro. Being a seasoned diver, worked as a guide/instructor, and been on other liveaboards, we were both not impressed and will not come back or recommend this boat. Our power went out at least once a day. The crew and kitchen staff were amazing. Not much English spoken and we had more fun with them than with the guides and on the dives. The sites are average and repetative. The northern sites were extremely crowded with day trippers. No remote sites with this boat.

These Guys Are Pros!
They may seem like a group of friendly and welcoming scuba guys – and they are! – but underneath that is a very dedicated, organized and highly skilled team of professionals. All of the logistics were handled effortlessly. Dive briefings were clear and comprehensive. Dive groups were small so that guides could keep track of their divers and offer assistance if necessary. Food was great. And the boat crew was tireless and efficient. I was on Manta Queen 8 and Mark was an excellent tour leader. My dive guide Daniel was terrific––great dives, all. And I am confident all of the others were excellent as well. If I come back to Thailand, Khaolak Scuba Adventures is my first stop.

Similan Island and Richelieu Rock
First, there was nor enough divers and I was switched to the much smaller Manta Queen 6. I was given a small discount for this inconvenience. The diving was very good and my first dive at Richelieu Rock made it directly to my top three.

Trop bien, allez-y les yeux fermés !
La bienveillance et le professionnalisme de l’équipage thaï et des monos nous ont permis de passer un séjour inoubliable. Les sites étaient magnifiques, riches en flore et en faune. Ces quelques jours passés à leur côté ont été vraiment géniaux ! Merci à eux
