Highlights
The SS Glorious Miss Nouran liveaboard is part of the well-established Sea Serpent Fleet operating dive liveaboards in the Red Sea, Egypt. It has 13 air-conditioned ensuite cabins, accommodating up to 26 guests. These consist of 1 Double Master suite with panoramic windows and 12 twin bed cabins. Cabins are located on either the upper deck or lower deck, depending on the type. The SS Glorious Miss Nouran is a modern motor yacht at 40mtrs/131ft in length, and it has a clean, light, and modern feel to its interior. There are plenty of social spaces around the deck areas, including a large comfortable indoor lounge and dining space on the main deck. On the sundeck and flight deck, there is more outside seating for guests to relax between dives or soak up some Egyptian sunshine. Excellent from start to finish
Coral and sea life are in great shape, dive guides and boat staff went above and beyond, with great attitudes, to make us comfortable and safe. Cabin (the suite) was big with comfortable bed and great view(but they need to work on the black water smell in the bathroom). Food was more than plentiful and very good quality. Fair price for beer. I would book with Sea Serpent again.

看描述里写的是21年新船，但整体感觉船龄有十多年了，上仓的房间非常小，卫生间还漏水。可选的小费最后是强制每人100欧元，但船员全程的服务并不算热情，希望会有改善。
首先值得肯定的是船宿公司，安全措施做得非常到位，尤其是给每人配备了是其它船宿不太常见的enos设备，让我的潜水再多了一重保障。满载26人的船，但在10月份的旺季，全程一共只有我们9个潜水员，令人非常意外哈。只配备了一个潜导，多数时候潜导只是带路，并没法照顾到大家。尤其是最后两天的夜潜，潜导索性懒得下水，让我们几人自己完成潜水，有些失职。 全员除了我们，其余7人都是来自欧洲的潜伴。虽然被分成了两个小团体，但令我们很欣喜的人大家都会Nice，尤其是几位男士，全程照顾了我们很多，大家相处非常愉快。 看描述里写的是21年新船，但整体感觉船龄有十多年了，上仓的房间非常小，卫生间还漏水。可选的小费最后是强制每人100欧元，但船员全程的服务并不算热情，希望会有改善。

Slightly higher price compared to other liveaboard, but totally worth the price.
Overall it was a really great experience, especially on the crew services and food, plenty choices of food to choose from every meal, and the kitchen make sure they make enough food for everyone. Soft drinks are inclusive along the trip, and the crew make sure they are filled all the time. Direct and clear instruction from the dive guides, they ensure safety first and are more than welcome to help out anytime if you have any issue. Rooms are properly maintained and cleaned everyday, fresh towels are provided too.

Eine tolle Woche
Obwohl das Schiff noch nicht so alt ist, sind die Kabinen teils abgewohnt. Wasserschaden in der Kabine, der kurz vor einchecken noch notdürftig repariert wurde. Kabine und Bad haben entsprechend gemüffelt bzw bestialisch gestunken. Betten sind sehr hart. Crew und Guide Mahmoud waren absolut top. Die besten Briefings und Safety-Standards, die wir jemals hatten. Jeder Gast bekam ein ENOS zu Positionsbestimmung, sollte man die Gruppe verlieren. Bassim brachte abends beim Zusammensitzen noch Chips und Snacks vorbei. Die Verpflegung war trotz nur 9 Gästen top - sowohl fürs Auge als auch für den Gaumen. Ich hatte das Glück genau nach meinem 150. Tauchgang den „Galaabend“ zu haben. Es gab Meeresfrüchte, Pute, Torte - einfach unglaublich. Die Getränkeauswahl könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. Clips zum Trocknen der nassen Sachen an der Reling wären noch toll. Haie waren leider Mangelware. Aber dafür kann niemand was - that‘s nature.

Innovative and exciting - Glorious Miss Nouran showed me some fantastic new dive spots
This has been my third liveaboard organised by the LA.com team, and I can guarantee that there will be a fourth. While I organised this trip at relatively short notice (i.e. a week), the team could not have been more helpful in helping me find the right trip with some fantastic and innovative dives. The cave and caverns that we dived throughout this trip were something completely different to anything I'd seen before, and every day I woke up looking forward to the next one, and what I would see. I've always been fortunate to meet some great people on liveaboards, which was another highlight for this year's trip. New friendships are made, talking about great diving (and always dive recommendations for the next trip) over great food. The guides were always helpful and supportive (keeping a clear eye out for safety issues without this ever becoming a "nag"), and were also great fun throughout. Another excellent week's diving, and one which I am already planning on repeating soon.

- The dives! Some really great and unusual dives in the roster, with flexibility built in to accommodate where possible someone's dive interests, or to offer a back-up if a dive site is not possible.. The guides - real professional expertise and a clear interest in the safety and wellbeing of everyone, without this becoming a nag. Also, they were really fun guys - shoutout to Mo Salah!. The food - always excellent (seriously, I've always had to watch my weight after coming back from my last three liveaboards), and this trip was no exception. Always delicious, always more than enough..
