Goditi una fantastica crociera subacquea alle Isole Galapagos a bordo dello yacht Calipso. Completamente rinnovato nel 2019, Calipso offre 8 cabine arredate con gusto per ospitare fino a 16 passeggeri, con una scelta di sistemazioni tra singole, doppie o matrimoniali. Tutte le cabine dispongono di ampio spazio di archiviazione, prese di ricarica, climatizzazione individuale, TV e bagno privato. Le cabine situate sul ponte principale e superiore hanno anche finestre panoramiche con vista sull'oceano. Le aree comuni aperte e spaziose consentono agli ospiti di distendersi e rilassarsi tra le attività subacquee. Se richiesto con anticipo ogni tipo di restrizione dietetica può essere accontentata. Potrai trovare pasti o deliziosi snack nell'ampio salone, nella sala da pranzo, nella postazione caffè o al bar, sempre ben fornito. Anche sulla terrazza solarium è possibile cenare all'aperto, il luogo perfetto per godersi la brezza marina e ammirare lo splendido paesaggio. Gli itinerari a bordo del Calipso sono stati pensati per poter sfruttare al massimoogni istante di navigazione tra le Isole Galapagos. Gli itinerari di immersione durano 7 notti e includono il famoso Wolf & Darwin per la possibilità di avvicinarsi a squali balena, squali martelli e delfini, nonché le affascinanti aree di immersione intorno alle Isole Isabela e Fernandina, per poter vedere da vicino leoni marini e tartarughe. L'ampio ponte di immersione con vasche di risciacquo rendono più comodo e facile prepararsi alle immersioni.

5 Star Service at 4 star prices
Staff service was comparable to more expensive 5 star dive boats I have been on. Tender operators, kitchen staff, engineering staff, boat crew were very focused on the guests. The engineering staff fixed a torn dry suit, a broken dive computer band, and a broken selfie stick all without any of the guests missing any dives.

Gets no better
I have been on many liveaboards, the crew, dive setup, and execution on the Calipso are all top notch. If you are headed to the Galapagos, you won't find a better option. Mola mola, iguanas, whale sharks, and all the hammers you can handle. While the encounters are not within the control of the crew, they did everything possible to get the timing right to maximize the chances.

Calipso crew made for a fun off-season Galapagos trip
I did an April trip aboard the Calipso. Overall, the trip was pretty great. Below are a few highs and lows, but way more of the former than the latter. The crew is great. Our steward, Danny, made sure every guest had everything they needed throughout the journey. Every hour. Every day. Divemaster Jimmy was incredibly knowledgeable about the various dive sites and really helpful to a wide range people of various diving competence. The rest of the crew were equally professional and helpful throughout. The rooms are spacious and clean (as was the boat, overall). The food was pretty good. And the sky deck area was underutilized on our cruise, but great. The Calipso, while not ludicrously indulgent or gluttonously fancy, was a great value for the money. Any nits I had were incredibly minor. The Santa Cruz transfer if you are going on to San Cristobal wasn’t exactly seamless (just make sure you have a very specific time the boat will be in port). I would have loved a freshwater dunk tank for all equipment (though fresh water was readily available via his and outdoor shower). And approach to tipping was less than just a suggestion — it was rather blunt. But as with any Liveaboard, tip. These folks work hard. I mostly mention these to emphasize how small these things are compared to all the reasons the ship is worth your consideration. These are all small. Whereas the trip felt big. I’d definitely recommend. However, were I to do the trip again I’d definitely choose the Calipso, for sure. However, I would probably opt for August-November when water clarity and conditions are more ideal. There was a ton of stuff at the sites, it just wasn’t always easy to see. (Something the boat obviously has no control over. But were I reading this, it’s something I would want to know.) I hope this helps inform your plans. Good luck in your choosing.

Wonderful Trip of a Lifetime

- The Galapagos really delivers the best in diving - pristine, so many animals, a truly special place. The Calipso was well suited for scuba diving; the hot towels and hot showers on the dive deck hit the spot after each dive. The crew was engaging and fun.

Amazing Crew & Wildlife
This was my first Liveaboard and did not know what to expect. Everything felt very professional and the entire crew was amazing. Our favorites were the dive guides and our panga driver! We were able to see all the wildlife we expected to including hundreds of Galapagos & Hammerhead sharks, Whale shark, Sunfish and marine iguanas. My 40th birthday celebration was also very special while on the Calipso - we hope to return in the future!

We saw everything you'd hope for on a trip to the Galapagos!....Whale Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Sea Lions, Eagle Rays, Blacktip Sharks, Turtles, Seals, Dolphins, Pilot Whales, Tuna, Sea Horses, Frog Fish, Red-lipped Batfish, Galapagos Bullhead Shark....what a trip! Highly recommend the Calipso....we had a great time and will be back!

Galapagos Never Disappoints!
Seeing the diversity of species in the Galapagos always has you waiting for the next exciting moment! Every day was fantastic! The crew went above and beyond to help us in every way, from diving, to cooking, to cabin cleaning and all the little things inbetween. Couldn't have been happier with our amazing trip!
