Highlights
The M/V Hondius Cruise Ship was built in 2019 to fulfill the standards for ice-strengthened vessels and the dedicated criteria for being environment-friendly as per the Polar Code. This Polar Class 6 vessel caters to 170 passengers in 83 cabins divided into grand and junior suites, along with superior, deluxe, window, and porthole cabins painted with biodegradable paint and with steam heating, LED lighting, and storage space. Varied performances, workshops, presentations, and exhibitions are open to participation in the lecture room and the observation lounge. The panoramic windows in the observation lounge, the stocked bar, and nourishing meals for distinct appetites are a sample of what is available to enjoy every moment of the trip.
Aboard the M/V Hondius, the itineraries are structured to meet the needs of first-time explorers who want to learn and rediscover the stars without light pollution or interact with different kinds of albatrosses and penguins. The Hondius also caters to the needs of the adrenaline-chasers who want to go camping, mountaineering, hiking, and kayaking. The fleet of zodiacs ensures a safe and speedy arrival on-shore and the return to uncompromising comfort aboard the Hondius. Every itinerary offers many activities, whether whale-watching at a moment’s notice or the observation of at least six different species of penguins up close while cruising through the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the Antarctica Peninsula.

Amazing!!
The landing at the Continental Antarctica site. The penguins and icebergs. It might have been one of the best staffing situations I've ever encountered. The staff that went out on 13th of December was nice literally all the way to Buenos Aires. Thanks very much !!!!

The very best vacation I have ever taken ... and really glad I chose to take it on Hondius.
1. The Ross seal - a rare find. 2. Watching a parent penguin feeding its chick at close range. 3. The whales … at close range from a zodiac. 4. The photo ops … it was almost sensory overload. 5. The food … my God, they fed us well on that ship.
