Modern boat, great crew
First a review of Echo boat. It's nice and modern, most cabins are at or above main deck, so you get better ventilation. A few cabins are very tight, but they have plenty of storage. The trip itself was good due to the highlights of encountering the sharks, but about 1/3 of the diving is mundane reefs on the way to/from the main attractions. Unfortunately, it seems like due to regulations, they can't spend more time the good dive sites, so you'll get to dive some filler boring reefs for 2.5 days.

Great crew and staff; good diving; boat definitely ready for dry dock
The crew and staff were fantastic; always helping wherever there was an opportunity, whether it was putting on a wetsuit or handing out a beverage after each dive. They also spent a lot of the trip trying to remedy an overwhelming scent of diesel fuel which permeated the cabin and made sleep difficult for most of the nights. They never fully solved the issue and the cabin was only free of the fumes on a couple of evenings. The food was good throughout the week, and the diving was solid despite the time of year. The highlights were the wrecks and the thresher that made an appearance at Little/Small Brother (our other half of the group saw a hammerhead the day prior at Big Brother).

Best all around dive experience
Encountering dolphins, twice. Meeting new divers from all over the world. Diving on some of the most amazing wrecks in the Red Sea. Getting to dive the sites before any of the day-boats got there was always a huge plus. The crew had all of the locations very well planned out.

First time Diving the Red Sea
Having only 10 guest on a boat that accommodates 25 was very good for livability and diving. The diving itinerary was good for my first visit to the Red Sea, and we even saw Thresher sharks in the distance. The food, diving and rest schedules were well thought out too.

A really fun adventure- I’d highly recommend it!
Not having dove for a while, I found the the dive guides very patient and helpful- they helped get my diving skills back up to par quickly. Diving and interacting with a pod of dolphins was amazing, as was exploring many of the wrecks. A superb trip!

Wonderful Red Sea trip with new friends
I loved the beautiful soft and hard corals. I would say this coral might even be superior to The Great Barrier Reef. Lots of schools of fish: triggerfish, banner fish, butterfly fish, bat fish, tuna, snapper, etc. It was amazing seeing a school of yellow snapper that seemed to go on for miles!! Huge napoleon! Schools of dolphins who "performed" for us and looked very happy! Beautiful Gorgonian fans. The multiple nationalities we had as passengers made it so fun! The boat crew were great. The diving allowed for independence and guided dives, whichever you were comfortable with.

Dive packed and great value
Dive guides and crew were just awesome, the itinerary was also very good. Boat size was good as was the number of divers we had which was under the max, we had 17, anymore would feel very cramped. Great value for the money.
