The way to see the Galapagos

Excursions on boat and on the islands. Seeing the blue footed booby and flamingos.

Unforgettable

We hit all the major islands and got to interact with all the animals we’d hoped to except the elusive hammerhead. The trip was 5-stars overall, though the boat is starting to show some age.

Recommended for
Breadth of animals seen, passion of guide, helpfulness of staff

We had a great time on the comfortable Archival 1 exploring a variety of islands in the Galapagos.

Highlights of our trip was viewing hundreds of unique birds nesting on Genovese, snorkeling with sharks, turtles and rays, and being together on this adventure. My one negative comment would be that it is not really a 4 day-3 night trip. The 4th "day" consisted of a visit to a tortoise reserve and a 10am drop off at the airport to catch our flight to Quito. I requested a later flight but were given no other option.

Recommended for
Variety of islands and wildlife; Comfort of the boat, crew service
