Highlights
The elegant 38m M/S Splendid was built for cruising the stunning Dalmatian coastline. There are 18 spacious cabins with private bathroom facilities, fully air-conditioned and conveniently designed. Most cabins can adapt to double or twin beds and feature desks, night lamps, a safety deposit box, a radio, a hairdryer, a 220 V electric supply, ample storage space, and up-to-date safety equipment. Cabins are spread out over 3 decks for added space and comfort.
Resembling a floating luxury hotel, the MS Splendid's public areas include a fully air-conditioned salon restaurant on the main deck. Large enough to seat all passengers comfortably and equipped with a bar area, LCD TV, and complimentary WiFi, there are large picture windows to enjoy the stunning views over breakfast. On the upper deck is a large outdoor covered terrace, with ample space for all passengers and the perfect place to enjoy a drink and the Adriatic Sea air. Sun lovers can unwind on the top deck with sun loungers, a partially shaded area, and a rooftop jacuzzi. At the back of the boat, there is also an extra large swim platform with ladders and easy access into the water for swim stops along the way.
Croatian small-ship cruises aboard the M/S Splendid explore the stunning bays and old towns between Dubrovnik and Split. Days are spent cruising, island-hopping, and enjoying the unspoiled nature at islands such as Korcula, Vis, and Hvar. City tours of Dubrovnik and Split are included, and evenings can be spent enjoying the local Croatian cuisine.

Great trip!
The Captain’s party. So much fun! We were on the Ambassador not the Spendid.

Comfortable ship, but amazing experience!
The ports we visited and the time we spent in port. The boat was 3 star - which we enjoyed. Because it wasn’t pretentious, we had a different calibre of people. Most were our age (mid 50s) and we didn’t have to get dressed up for dinner or party, party, party all night!

One of the best sailing experiences ever!
Snorkeling off the back of the boat in clear clean waters was a bonus!

Comfortable boat but I feel we were not given enough time on some of the islands to explore and some of the swim stops were too long. The time would have been better spent exploring the islands.
Discovering the islands and what they had to offer.

- The food was great and the boat was very comfortable with multiple areas to relax. Island stops were great but I would have liked to spend more time on some of the islands.

Friendly, comfortable little cruise ship.
Captain Zvone and his crew looked after us extremely well, working hard to keep the ship clean and providing us with excellent meals. Splendid is not the biggest, or most glamorous of the Croatian coastal cruise ships but because of that there was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere amongst the crew and guests.

Enjoyable but not as enjoyable as expected.
The scenery, the stops ashore and the sun deck were all great and boat very comfortable and clean. Overall a really nice experience but food was most disappointing...it did improve after the first chef walked out....but still a bit too like institutional food for our liking! Drinks on board were a bit pricey and due to windy weather conditions we missed a few swim stops. Bar and waiting staff were very good. Croatia is very beautuful...a good way to get a taste for the country and its gorgeous islands. We have been several times before ...the big difference for us this time was the cost of food and entertainment. Many of the places visited were chic and upmarket but even so...it was still expensive even off the beaten track. We will come back but would not do a cruise again.
