Scubaspa Maldives
Scubaspa Yin and Scubaspa Yang liveaboards are identical vessels constructed in 2013. They are two of the premier diving liveaboards in the Maldives. They visit the best diving spots in the Maldives with one—and two-week trips to the Northern and Southern Atolls.
Both ships have a large, well-designed diving deck and diving tender to transport you to those hard-to-reach dive spots. Once the day’s diving is done, guests can immerse themselves in the ample onboard facilities. The comfortable cabins have the air of hotel rooms with a minibar and ensuite bathrooms done in an elegant style.
The onboard spa offers various treatments for guests, including flower-filled relaxation baths and salt scrubs. What better way to unwind after a day’s diving than to enjoy an individual or couples massage? For non-diving guests, the crew also offers morning yoga sessions and numerous spa treatments as part of the package. Guests can finish their luxurious day in the jacuzzi or enjoy a drink at the ship’s bar.
As you might expect, in one of the most popular honeymoon destinations in the world, the Scubaspa Yin and the Yang offer something special for those looking for a romantic break. The honeymoon package includes a candlelit flower bath, skin scrub, and a couple’s massage.
The Maldives is world-renowned as one of the world's most relaxing and romantic holiday spots and one of the top diving destinations. With beautiful atolls housing a rainbow of reef fish and huge manta rays passing by, snorkelers and divers will be impressed. The visibility is excellent, up to forty meters in places, perfect for spotting passing thresher sharks, hammerheads, and even whale sharks.
Non-divers can enjoy long, relaxing sunny days on the ship's sun deck or head off on an excursion for the day. The Maldivian islands are stunningly beautiful, with powder-white beaches and crystal-clear waters. The itinerary offers land excursions to Male City and Guraidhoo and an evening barbecue on a secluded beach.
The Scubaspa Yin and Yang crews pride themselves on providing guests with a relaxing and luxurious experience. With 29 staff members for around 22 guests, including a full team of spa therapists, a yoga instructor, and dive guides, guests will enjoy the finest service.
Scubaspa Yin and Yang describe their cuisine as fine dining, emphasizing quality and variety. The onboard chef prepares Western and traditional Maldivian meals and offers various delicious snacks throughout the day. Meals are served in the elegant dining room, which offers group seating and a more intimate table for two.
The boats also offer a full bar service with a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages throughout the day, including cocktails, teas, and coffees. Guests can enjoy these drinks in the main salon, on the deck, or even in the jacuzzi.
Scubaspa Indonesia
The latest addition to the Scubaspa fleet, Scubaspa Zen, is the first vessel for this acclaimed operator in Indonesia. It is a more traditional style of liveaboard but with no less luxury and facilities onboard. At 53 meters long, this boat has plenty of room to accommodate up to 20 guests in 9 en-suite cabins. All the usual 5-star spa facilities allow guests to pamper themselves between dives.
The Scubaspa Zen itineraries run throughout the year and take divers and non-divers to some of Indonesia’s most famous areas, such as Raja Ampat, Komodo, Cenderawasih Bay, and Ambon. From macro diving to spotting majestic manta rays, Scubaspa Zen covers all the main dive sites found in this amazing dive location. Daily diving is done from the accompanying dive dhoni, meaning all dive gear is kept separately from the main accommodation areas.
Guests are fed 3 buffet-style meals each day in the al fresco restaurant, and there is plenty of deck space for those seeking some sunshine or to grab a drink from the bar and enjoy the amazing scenery.
