Amazing Crew
The crew was over the top amazing. They helped carry everything, would help dress us in our wetsuit, rinsed gear and help get us on and off the dingy. There was always a towel and a water bottle waiting for us after a dive and in our cabin. I am vegetarian and I had the most delicious tofu dishes. There were only 3 guests on our liveaboard and a staff of 10. Apparently 2 guests got sick and did not make it, so it would have been 5 guests. Regardless, it meant very small group sizes and always an hour long dive. We saw so many amazing creatures. I’ll never forget my trip. Otis and Fadli are amazing dive guides.

Great Trip!
The diving in Raja Ampat is unparalleled and the crew went out of there way to show us the best spots. we went to the south, the north, and central during the trip. Many of the sites in the south and north, we were the only dive group there. The crew was amazing and helped with every dive. Every time you come back to the boat, they cheer (literally every time haha). Would go again with this boat!

Great service and diving in the lower price range
Well organized trip from pickup to drop off. Filled schedule to maximize diving, and the variety of sites selected was very nice. Crew were friendly and boat was spacious, given that there were only 5 passengers

Good diving in a very interesting area of Raja Ampat
I recommend Putri Papua Positive aspects: Very friendly and helpful crew, excellent dive guides Otis and Fadly. Tasty food, adapted to European style. Small number of divers, there were 7 of us and this created a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent boat route from the southern part of Raja Ampat to the northern. Excellent organization of transfers from/to the airport, as well as communication with the staff. Hiking in local islands to viewpoints. Negative, but not critical, comments: In the rooms, the smell from the engine was quite strong. Rooms need some renovation.

This is a diving trip even better than my expectation!
The MV‘s capacity is 9 but luckily there were only 6 divers on the boat. All cabins have ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning. In general the food was tasty, fresh fruit or fruit juice was available everyday. We did 31 dives over the journey of 10 days and covered the south, north and central regions of Raja Ampat. Both 2 divemasters were local and knew the sites quite well. Sometimes there was smelling of diesel fuel in the lower cabins. The visibility was a little bit disappointing, probably 10-15 meters on average. There were millions of fish and the soft and hard corals , they would be gorgeous with more light coming through the water. Highlights included a swimming wobbegong shark, groupers, lots of mantas, school of snappers and many more. In conclusion we really enjoyed our time on the MV Putri Papua and thought that the crews were generally excellent.

Backup Team
Manta diving is easily the highlight of the trip although other dives including drifts and reef hooks to just enjoy the underwater world is a close second. A trip to the islands as seen on the 100,000 rupiah note is also a must-do. Night dives are also wonderful to see octopus, cuttlefish and small creatures hiding in the rocks during the day. The crew did a good job to ensure there is enough time for a lot of diving over the 10 days seeing that there are some distances to be covered by boat around the area.

- The diving in the area is good and the dive scheduling was good with some island visits included. It will cover all the major dive sites. The crew was friendly to help out and help the divers with their gear, cabin was kept super clean by the young man and we got fresh juices every day.
