The Davy Jones Liveaboard is a traditional wooden sailing phinisi offering year-round dive liveaboard trips in Indonesia. Her local name is Cahaya Bersama, which means 'light for everyone'. Davy Jones Liveaboard can accommodate up to 9 guests in 4 private cabins. Two cabins with queen-sized beds are located on the upper deck, and on the lower deck is another double cabin with queen bed and 1 triple cabin with bunks. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms with marine flushing toilets, hot water showers and air-conditioning. Social areas include a large open-air covered dining area and bar, where delicious meals of both western and Indonesian cuisine are served.
Davy Jones Liveaboard is crewed by 5 staff, including a western cruise director, and local captain, sailors and divemasters. Dive destinations include the world-famous Komodo National Park. This protected UNESCO World Heritage site offers spectacular diving, with the chance of diving with manta rays, sharks, turtles and amazing macro life all on pristine reefs. Four to five dives per day are available, and surface intervals are kept long to leave plenty of time to relax in-between diving. The 5-metre tender that accompanies the liveaboard is on hand to ensure easy entry, pick-ups and safety when diving.
