Great value for Thailand dive boat experience
Richelieu rock had an abundance of sea life and good color. There were however a lot of divers and it was less than an average day (5 boats total vs 10) this made it harder to enjoy than some other locations around the world where the number of divers and boats are restricted. Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.

Fabulous trip for our first liveaboard experience.
Beautiful coral gardens in crystal clear waters of Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, abundance of sea life in Richelieu Rock. Having a responsible guide for just 2 of us who are novice divers.

Best Dive Trip to Date
We saw a whale shark-the first for most on the boat. Fellow passengers, dive staff, and boat crew were all fantastic. The food was top-notch.

Great overall scuba experience
Hallelujah is is an excellent mid-range boat. She is comfortable, had a convenient dive deck, has free Nitrox, and an excellent crew. Cabins on the Hallelujah were on the small side, but thats to be expected on a dive boat and it was not an issue as there were several areas where we could relax and socialize both in ac and not in ac during transit times and surface intervals. Hallelujah excels because of her crew. The company has a 4:1 ratio of divers to guides and all groups are guided. These small dive groups allow the company to divide divers into similar dive skill levels and also keep us spread out enough so that it's not a constant sea of divers. With the popularity of the simians, it is not uncommon for there to be 6-8 dive boats of 20 divers each on a dive site. The Hallelujah was great at not diving where the other boats are and constantly looked for dive sites that weren't as crowded. If you want a good vacation that focuses on diving and giving you a customized experience, choose Hallelujah. If you want a boat with a bunch of fussy divers where you are dropped off the dive deck like lemmings in diver soup, choose another boat.

AMAZING experience, great crew, excellent food, perfect diving
Top notch crew - guides were professional, support crew was excellent. Beautiful boat - great rooms and common areas, sometimes dive from boat, sometimes tenders, always convenient. Food - so much amazing and diverse food. We would highly recommend a liveaboard trip with Big Blue Diving Khao Lak!

Amazing dive sites & a language barrier
We had amazing visibility when we went to Richelieu Rock - 40 meters at least. That site is one of the best in the world. As usual, the crew and the passengers were relaxed, the guides were patient and experienced (and worked through many problems with customers making their experience much more pleasant). The only problem was half the boat was Japanese-speaking tourists (the boat is half-owned by a Japanese man). As an English-speaker, I'm a bit spoiled to have it be the common tongue around the world, but I was still a bit disappointed that half the boat passengers didn't really talk to the other half. On these trips, you spend a lot of time with the other passengers, so it's nice to have people to talk to!
