Shoulder seasons offer the sweet spot:
- Spring (March - May): The crowds from the winter peak season have lessened, but the water is still warm and visibility is excellent.
- Autumn (September - November) Temperatures are still pleasant, and you'll beat the summer rush..

Maldives
Shoulder seasons for value: The shoulder seasons offer the best balance between good diving conditions and potential discounts:
- May: The start of the wet season, but still offers good diving and possibly lower prices.
- October: The end of the wet season with transitioning weather and potential deals.
Indonesia
Aim for shoulder seasons for optimal deals:
- April-May: Just before the peak dry season starts.
- September-October Right after the busiest dry season.
During these shoulder seasons, demand is lower, leading to potentially great deals on liveaboards. You might still experience fantastic diving conditions without the crowds.

Thailand
Shoulder seasons are key
- Late April - May: After the peak season crowds leave, but before the monsoon season starts.
- September - October: When the monsoon season subsides, offering potentially discounted trips.
During these periods, you can often find competitive prices as the demand for liveaboards lessens, yet the diving conditions can still be quite favorable.
Important note:
Thailand has two prime dive regions:
- Andaman Sea (West Coast): Best conditions from November to April.
- Gulf of Thailand (East Coast): Best conditions from May to October.
Galapagos
Shoulder Season Sweet Spot: Aim for the edges of the peak seasons to get a balance of good diving conditions and potential deals:
- May-June: Before the peak of the cool, dry season starts.
- November-December: Before the warm, wet season fully kicks in.
